ROSIER

Track: Good 4. Rail: True

R1: THE HANDICAP REAL ESTATE AGENCY (1200m)

Overview: It looks like a great race for Katalin and she rushed into the last preparation, then hit a wet track at Rosehill and failed. She can bounce off the floor here. Selburose got all the favors on the last start, but seems a danger with Seleque and Georgie’s Pride.

BETTING TIPS: Kataline to win.

R2: FUJITSU GENERAL HANDICAP (1900m)

Overview: Seems like another great run for Mightybeel and he has found an awkward door but he flies and whoever goes places. He might be looking further now and that’s the other little question. Solar Apex and Margie Bee on the next line, while Prompt Prodigy could improve strongly at high odds.

BETTING TIPS: Mightybeel up for grabs.

R3: HANDICAP HIGHWAY TAB (1200m)

Overview: Decent highway. Brave Enough should relish 1200m and he dominated the end of the last start. Ceasefire was too bad to be true on the last start of the big race, but his previous numbers were pretty good for it. He needs to see 1200m now. Bean Hot, Chevconi, Private Agent, and Casino Kid all have claims.

BETTING TIPS: Brave Enough at the top in a tough race.

R4: THE FOUR PILLARS (1500m)

Overview: Such an open race with a lot of hopes. Different Strokes is the one to beat and he trotted on the last start. Highly Desired was a strong new winner and I don’t mind the different form line here. Divine Breath has been gaining a good weight on Different Strokes since the last start, while there are plenty of other chances as well.

BETTING TIPS: Different Strokes is the one to beat, but Highly Desired and Divine Breath are both quite opposites.

R5: ROSEHILL GOLDEN CUP (2000m)

Overview: He’s just a Ripper, Think It Over and they really took advantage by keeping him home in Sydney this prep. Cards to run well again and can only perform well again. Gold Trip was a scrape of Cox’s plate and I’m sure he will have his admirers in this race. Reports are that it takes a long time to finish, so he will want a good gallop. Sky Lab builds well and gets a good swing in the weights on Think It Over, but it might just want a bit of a bite off the track.

BETTING TIPS: Lots of different angles. Sky Lab and Lion’s Roar work well both ways.

R6: CLASSIC LEGEND CHALLENGES (1300m)

Overview: Have a good sprint run here. Eduardo has to run 1300m but he was exceptional in The TAB Everest and has cards to lead or seat the lead contender if they so choose. Gytrash won this race last year and, while the dry track and wide gate are of concern, he started at $ 8 in a final TAB Everest start before coming to a club stop. Masked Crusader has pretensions but seems very short in the opening bets as his run was not as good on time compared to the last eye start. Lost And Running and Big Parade also have claims.

BETTING TIPS: Eduardo and Gytrash.

R7: GOLDEN EAGLE (1500m)

Overview: Open race with lots of form angles. I have to be with Apache Chase and he picks up speed and keeps fighting all day. He has been great twice and can only run well. Maximal was formed around some great horses abroad. I’m not going to pretend to be an international expert but some people tell me he’s very lucky so I’ll respect that. I am Thunderstruck also works well.

BETTING TIPS: Apache Chase to win.

R8: NED WHISKEY HANDICAP (1100m)

Overview: On The Lead didn’t live up to Leo’s last start but managed to beat the others. He is doing quite well and the step backwards up to 1100m is fine. Delexo took off on the last start and it is going in the right direction. He just has to do it at 1100m now. Liberty Sun, Jerle, Monte Ditto, and Fox Fighter all have claims.

BETTING TIPS: In the lead to win.

R9: SCHWEPPES HANDICAP (1500m)

Overview: Seems like a great race for Brookspire and it was taken off the track on the last start. She rushed before that, although one day she was in the fast lane. She did a lot of practice and cards to get a good race. Pippali was a disappointment on the last start, but she beat two subsequent winners on this track and on two occasions. Golly I’m Lucky was anything but the name suggests this preparation.

BETTING TIPS: Brookspire the horse to beat but while waiting for some good races from Pippali and Golly, I am lucky to disagree.

R10: TAB NOT A HANDICAP DAY (1300m)

Overview: Open race. April Rain should have won first place and she seems to have come back well this preparation. The question is whether they leave the big draw. This is the right setup for Cuban Royale and he loves the dry terrains at Rosehill on this trip. Dynamic Impact can work well against the grain if they run here.

BETTING TIPS: April Rain is the only one to beat.
