The Undertaker has ‘no idea’ who the old lady is in the famous photo

After some false finishes, The contractor finally wrestled his very last match at WrestleMania 36. A Boneyard Match against AJ Styles. Since then, The Deadman has been able to let loose what has effectively been 30 years of bottling up his true self as he strives to stay in character no matter the situation. This led to a slew of interviews and a slew of big reveals about Taker’s life and career.

The grandmother of the dead

There are so many fans out there who want to know about The Undertaker that he’ll probably still be answering questions he’s never been asked for years. Something we’ve never seen him questioned about before came up during The Phenom’s appearance in Ryan Satin’s Out Of Character. How exactly a photo from around 25 years ago showing The Undertaker with his grandmother managed to find it in the public domain.

If you haven’t seen the photo, you can check it out below. Chances are the majority of you have seen it before, with some kind of witty caption about even The Deadman loving his grandmother. Thing is, the old lady in the picture isn’t The Undertaker’s grandmother. In fact, the future Hall Of Famer does not know who she is.

So who is this old lady?

“I have no idea who it is or why I’m in this lady’s house,” Undertaker said on the show. You see a picture of a wrestler with an old lady in what looks like that old lady’s house, you naturally assume the lady is the wrestler’s grandmother. The pic, which has been rolling for years, was twice as fun since The Phenom was clearly still in character. However, it’s not Grandma Taker, and since the man himself doesn’t remember who it is, we may never again know the identity of the lady and what exactly an Undertaker was doing. in character.

There was a time when wrestlers stayed with fans between shows in an effort to save money that would otherwise have been spent on a hotel room. Maybe the woman in the photo was a fan who was kind enough to put Undertaker, and maybe a few other wrestlers, up for the night. Since the fan in question is likely no longer around, we may never know who she was again.
