What to look for in bridal shower favors
Bridal shower favors are by no means a requirement, although they are a big thank you to your guests, says Sarah Miller, Events Manager at Paulette Loup Events. If you do make one, keep it small; something like a personalized mini bottle of your favorite rosé or scented candle is a great option.
Everything that goes with the theme of your wedding
Have a destination wedding? Consider something like a monogrammed baggage tug, which will be both fun and practical, Miller says.
âTraditionally, the bridal shower is hosted by the bridesmaid and bridesmaids,â says Miller. âHowever, as brides and weddings have become less traditional, family members, close friends and even neighbors can organize a shower; brides can even have multiple showers organized by different groups, âshe says.
Miller suggests incorporating a fun DIY project as part of the shower, which guests can then take home and use at your wedding. His suggestions: Handmade paper that can be used in a guest book, or wax candles that can be part of a table setting.
