MEMORIES bearing the official Platinum Jubilee emblem have gone on sale.
The Royal Collection range will include a £15 fine bone china coffee mug, £8.95 tea towel, £8.95 shopping bag and even a bottle of Platinum Jubilee hand sanitiser for £3.95 .
Each item features the Jubilee Emblem, a winning entry created by graphic design student Edward Roberts, 19, from Nottinghamshire.
Its continuous line design symbolizes the Queen’s long 95-year reign, with the purple color reflecting her dress of succession, worn at her coronation in 1953.
He was thrilled to see the memorabilia in stores, saying, “With the new design, I wanted to create a set of products that stayed true to and worked well with the emblem design.
“Like my original submission, the flowers are part of a continuous line, capturing the delicate nature of these national symbols.
“I wanted to create a contemporary design in tune with these modern times.”
