Ryanair customer’s travel pillow hack sneaks onto plane for free

Now, travel restrictions have mostly eased, many are eager to accumulate their miles by flying overseas.

But while it is exciting to seek some sun or soak up some culture, the cost of the trip is not so attractive.

So, faced with expensive baggage fees, a woman concocted a hilarious plan to try and save a few pounds.

Kristen Black is the mastermind behind a series of travel hacks she has declared that will “save money” and “save space”.

Access TikTok using the username @kristenashleyblack, she has published a step-by-step guide on “How to pack for your Ryanair flight”.

First in line of its baggage hacks, Kristen kneels on the airport floor to demonstrate how to make a “DIY neck pillow”.

Armed with a turtleneck sweater, Kristen took some clothes and rolled them inside the sweater.

She then tied her arms around her neck to shape the homemade neck pillow.

Next, Kristen showed viewers a nifty way to take your memories on board without having to fork over extra cash.

She asked: “Use your hat for the souvenirs you bought on your trip.”

Hilariously, the savvy vacationer put a little stuffed lamb on her head and then managed to cover it up with a pom-pom beanie.

For her last trick, Kristen insists that you need to “pad” your coat pockets with personal items to really reduce the weight of the luggage.

After carrying half of her carry-on instead of carrying it, she joked that she was “ready for fashion week in Paris”.

And more importantly, she also said that she “saves money”.

Like many people connected with the travel problem, Kristen’s video went viral and garnered 5.4 million views and 489,000 likes.

Many were amused by the creativity of TikTokers in the comments section.
