With Christmas lurking over the hill like a bright red pickpocket blinking, it’s time to start figuring out what to buy for your loved ones. If they’re photographers, here are some ideas that won’t break the bank.
There are few things that I find more irritating than needing to give someone a gift, but not having ideas of what to give them. What’s worse is when that person has clear interests, but I know very little or nothing about them. This is what a number of our loved ones have to deal with every Christmas and birthday; they know we love photography, but what do you buy from a photographer?
Well, maybe you can like this post when it’s shared on Facebook, or leave a comment and hope the breadcrumb trail finds its way to the person concerned. If what you want isn’t on the list, add it in a comment for clarification and start preparing your “not at all, how did you know that?” face.
After my article on photographers’ gifts not want a few years ago i promised to do one on the freebies we do, and i will, but for now i have a suggestion for under $ 100. A gorilla pod. Depending on the size of the camera the person is using, you can get one for as little as $ 28 and they’re great not only for cameras, but flashes and GoPro’s as well.
