Easy tips for throwing a last-minute 4th of July party: decorations, photo booth and snack ideas

CHICAGO (WLS) — The holiday season can get stressful to plan, but quick and easy preparation can make things go more smoothly.

Nicole Fauls of Urban Allure Events says pre-prep and getting professional help will cut down on time with items like cocktails and food pre-made “the night before and create recipes that can stay in slow cookers. and doubles as a gas station so you can enjoy the party too!”

She also recommended adding a personal touch to add to the fun, saying “all you need are picture frames – make cute signs for your food and drink! They’re easy to make and go your table on the next level,” Fauls said. .

Remember, guests love interaction, so Fauls said to create a photo booth or balloon wall at your party for fun photos with items from your local party supply store.

She added to hosts – don’t forget basic items that are often overlooked, like “ice, paper plates, napkins – most hosts forget to buy these as they scramble for more important tasks” .

Urban Allure Events was founded in 2015 by Fauls and has since grown into a national event planning team that has hosted over 400 weddings and events coast to coast. Since its inception, the company has celebrated with hundreds of couples and planned everything from intimate getaways to large-scale weddings, as well as fundraising galas and global conferences.
