“Home is not a place; it’s a feeling. – Cecelia Ahern
With a plethora of Indian communities living in the United States, it is no longer a foreign land but a place that many immigrants call home in the truest sense. After settling here, they blessed their new land with vibrant customs, colors, festivals and even decor. That’s right, Indo-American homes in the United States usually have an Indian aura around them with the vivid decor and signature pieces from our home.
One of those homes is the sweet home of Thenmozhi in picturesque New Jersey. Passionate about creation, Thenmozhi likes to bring beautiful elements to her American home. This is evident in the decor that she handpicked for the different spaces in and around the house.
Here are some pictures of the Thenmozhi pad. Let’s take a virtual tour of this beautiful house @Inspireddecorart
The grand entrance
The grand entrance to Thenmozhi’s house boasts of a brightly painted wall, a beautiful entrance table, a decorative mirror, two beautiful bells and a pretty statue of Ganpathi among others. brightly colored decors and flourishing plants, which make it look so fresh. Thenmozhi says, “I like to mix things up or paint the rooms in our house to give it a new look – it’s easy and economical.”
This is the sunny corner of this beautiful house. With plenty of huge windows to let in the sun and a comfy sofa to relax in, this is the perfect veranda one could wish for.
The veranda also has a cozy corner to relax with a good book and a cup of coffee. This special corner has been arranged in the veranda with part of the green treasure and a colorful blanket.
The living room
The pop-colored living room is bright and inviting.
Thenmozhi says, “Color coordination is not my thing when it comes to decorating or styling. I always go bold with my color choices on both the walls and the cushions and that’s a fluke. Go with the flow. “
A beautiful brass Bala Krishna from @simgillstore adorns Thenmozhi’s house.

This house has a lot of indoor plants. Studies have shown that houseplants not only improve your mood and reduce stress levels. But it is of course not a simple task to maintain so many plants in your home. Thenmozhi has some tips for you if you want to have plants in your home. Some of the tips are to research before you buy a plant focusing primarily on sunlight and water requirements, water them only when needed, keep a close eye on the plants to make sure they thrive in the position they find themselves in, monitoring the temperature of the water and basically making it a part of your family.
A well decorated wall in the kitchen
Walls are for decoration, and Thenmozhi found his favorite wall in his kitchen. She says, “This is my favorite wall in our house. I keep throwing different things and for me they always turn out to be good. »Thenmozhi’s rooms are very colorful. She says, “People ask me how I coordinate the colors of the rooms in our house. The truth is, I never do. I just buy things that I love or can’t live without, and then I try to find a place in our abode. It just works. Color brings a lot of energy and brightens my day. Even when the outside is dark, it enlivens the inside and sends out positive energy.
Terrace with a view
As for Thenmozhi’s deck, nature seems to have decorated it! The wooden swing blends in perfectly with the environment. What a view!
