Monday, March 28 th
Enroll toddlers in spring camp
Do you have children between the ages of three and five? They’re probably on spring break, which means it’s up to you to entertain them. Why not make it educational as well and enroll them in spring camp at Droplets by Caboodle. The learning-based camp features activities ranging from science to music and movement, storytelling, obstacle courses and more. Learn to paint at the beautiful Qasr Al Watan
Qasr Al Watan is one of the only working palaces of its kind in the world and it opens its doors to artists (even if you are just starting out) to paint. It takes place at the Palais de la Nation under the leadership of the La Parole Art Gallery. Participants will be able to unleash their creativity on their canvas based on the architectural marvel. The price includes the entrance fee, a two-hour painting workshop, souvenirs and access to the sound and light show at the Palace. Confirm your place on 052 156 5954.

Cook with the whole family at Al Qattara Arts Center
Want to learn about pastry? Attend this workshop at the Al Qattara Arts Centre. On March 29 from 5 p.m., the whole family, children included, can learn how to make almond croissants. You’ll be guided by Emirati chef Abeer Al Louz and the good news is that it’s free. It lasts two hours. Book on [email protected]

Wednesday March 30
Take the whole family to see Youtube sensation CoComelon
Join JJ and his fun group for a range of entertaining edutainment activities. There are two attractions: the Melon Patch Academy and the Melon Patch Playground where there is doh-sand, DIY cards, arts and crafts and more. The characters will also be present for photo ops. To enter you will need to show proof of spending Dhs 100 anywhere in the mall and this includes entry for two children. It takes place on level 3 of the CoComelon area of The Galleria. Dine at the new M1 cafe and lounge
If you want to try a new restaurant, go to Al Bateen. M1 Cafe and Lounge opened in one of the luxury villas and has flexible dining experiences ranging from casual to VIP. There are three levels each with its own dedicated theme and menu. The all-day cafe is on the ground floor with light snacks and gourmet coffee, the main dining room is on the second floor, and the third floor is the private members’ social club. Learn more here.

Treat yourself to a purple afternoon tea at Osmo Lounge & Bar
Do you have a special woman in your life that you want to spoil? March 31 is the last day to treat her to an afternoon purple tea at the Hilton Abu Dabi Yas Island. There are classic scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, more sweet and savory pastries and treats as well as coffee, tea or juice. The ladies will be welcomed with a mocktail or a cocktail.
